How to use negative te-form

Only the negative te-form can express a negative demand, such as a prohibition. Adding ‘kudasai’ after the negative te-form makes the expression more polite. Although the negative te-form can also function as a conjunction, similar to a gerund in English, this lesson focuses solely on its use in expressing demands.
