Add ‘taidesu’ to the stems of verbs. If the stem ends with a consonant, add ‘itaidesu’ instead.

Actually, ‘…taidesu’ is a long form of the i-adjective ‘…tai’. Therefore, conjugation follows the same pattern as i-adjectives. ‘…tai’ changes to ‘…takunai’ and ‘…taidesu’ changes to ‘…takunaidesu’.”
